StartLine Specialized career orientation course

StartLine is an introductory and orientation course that provides an opportunity to explore the design profession, understand its main directions, and choose the specialization that resonates most with you.

During the course, participants will not only gain theoretical knowledge about the evolution of the design industry and today’s most in-demand fields, but will also engage in practical tasks that allow them to experience each specialization firsthand, helping them better understand their interests and strengths.

The program is FREE of charge; however, to participate, a 5,000 AMD deposit is required. If the participant decides to continue the course after the program, the deposit amount will be deducted from the first month’s payment.

Course Objective

Many people want to study design but still do not clearly understand which branch of the field suits them best.
StartLine was created specifically to solve this challenge by helping students during the preparatory stage to:

  • understand the different areas of design,
  • explore them in a practical environment,
  • discover their own interests,
  • make a more confident professional choice.

Who Is This Course For?

What You Will Study

  • During the course, students will explore the following areas of design:

    • Graphic Design
    • Interior Design
    • UX/UI Design

    Each direction includes:

    • a theoretical introduction,
    • an overview of the field’s specifics,
    • practical in-class activities,
    • small experimental assignments. 

Program Structure

  • Total duration: 8 classes
  • 2 sessions for each specialization
  • Duration of each class: 2 hours
  • Group size: 8–12 students
  • The course is designed not only for students to learn through theory, but also to experience and engage with the working environment of each field.

Admission Process

Applicants are selected through the following stages:

  • Submission of a motivation letter
  • Completion of a short questionnaire
  • A brief meeting with a specialist

These stages help identify the participant’s interests and motivation while ensuring a more effective learning environment.

By the End of the Course, Participants Will

  • gain an understanding of the main areas of design,
  • identify which field interests them the most,
  • receive their first practical experience,
  • make a more confident decision about their future professional path.
